About Kedash Design

During the early days of her career, Leslie D. Kedash (University of Delaware Class of '77) followed a path familiar to many graphic designers. Initial freelance jobs eventually turned into full-time agency positions. From there, her talent and growing experience opened more doors, leading the way to the opportunity of a lifetime.

In 1985, Kedash was approached by the president of a small company. He had an innovative marketing idea, a new way to sell credit cards, and he needed a graphic design team to make it happen. His directive to Kedash was simple: create a graphic design department and run it. And, she did. Starting with nothing more than an empty room and a telephone, Kedash established what is now known as MBNA America's Creative Services department.

After 3 years inside Corporate America, Kedash decided to take on a new challenge. In 1989, she struck out on her own, laying the groundwork for what was to become Kedash Design. Her first hire was a young graphic designer, fresh from the U of D's Visual Communications class of '89, Lori Gray. The pairing proved a perfect match. Together, Kedash and Gray have produced award-winning work for Winterthur Museum, The Hunt Magazine, The Brandywine Conservancy, Sanford School, Meals on Wheels Delaware, MBNA and others.

Today, Kedash Design is a small growing company. Leslie Kedash continues to act as creative director with Lori as art director.
